Urban Monitoring for Efficient and Effective Decision-making (UMEED)

The nation faces challenges of rapid urbanisation without any consolidated overview of urban data to monitor and improve urban service delivery. The Urban Monitoring for Efficient and Effective Decision-making (UMEED) developed on UPYOG architecture, is a National Dashboard that is the future of urban governance in India, where data drives transformation.

The dashboard shall emerge as the beacon of efficiency, transparency, and empowerment for our cities, States and UTs by providing a standardised way to compare the ongoing and furture efforts.

Acting as a consolidated Decision Support System, the dashboard offers a holistic view of key metrics of urban and municipal service delivery across the nation. Presently, 14 states are actively contributing data from over 2000 ULBs to the UMEED dashboard, with several States/ UTs in process.
